The Juanita High School emergency preparedness committee supports JHS administration with emergency preparedness efforts and manages the school’s emergency supplies. The JHS E-Prep committee chair also participates in district PTSA Council Emergency Preparedness Committee meetings to share information and coordinate with other schools in our learning community and across the district. In addition to our wonderful JHS teachers and classroom instructors, we have awesome administrators, main office staff, counselors, cafeteria staff, and building services staff. The PTSA allocates money for Teacher Grants, which are meant to offer support to the staff in obtaining additional classroom supplies that might not be funded by the School or the District. These supplies could range from items like science classroom plants, reading chairs, books, or various miscellaneous materials.
